Beginning Sunday, November 3, 2019, Faith Worship Community Adult Sunday School will host a weekly Bible study lead by William C. Williams, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Old Testament at Vanguard University.
Please join us in the Sunday School room at the Balearic Center for what promises to be a rich and inspiring journey through the Word of God.
About Dr. Williams
Dr. Williams is a distinguished scholar, Bible translator, and minister of the Gospel of Christ. For more than forty years, he taught Old Testament, Hebrew, and other Semitic languages in both the graduate and undergraduate programs at Vanguard University. He has been an editor and consultant on a number of Bible translations including The New American Standard Bible, and The New Living Translation. He has contributed to reference works such as The New International Dictionary of Old Testament Theology and Exegesis, (Zondervan), The Evangelical Dictionary of Biblical Theology (Baker), and The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (Wm B. Eerdmans). Dr. Williams is the editor of They Spoke From God: A Survey of the Old Testament (Logion) and has authored notes for The NLT Study Bible (Tyndale, 2008). He has been a visiting professor at numerous colleges and universities in the United States and abroad. His personal interests include photography and bicycling.
