Thank you to all who have supported our Australia Missionary Amber Masters (Ross) these past few years. Amber has accepted a position as SRE Teacher for two terms at The Entrance Campus. Below is Tuggerah Lakes Christian Education Board Inc.’s (TLCEB Inc.) most recent newsletter announcing Amber’s new role and a brief interview.
Pease continue to pray for Amber and her husband Zack as they continue to minister to the youth down under.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 |
From our Chairperson What a year 2020 has been! This Covid Season has certainly challenged the way we minister to our young people and to each other as we have all experienced the effects of being unable to gather. This year has reminded me that doing Christian ministry well takes courage and determination. I like to think that I am similar to the kitten in the picture above. In reality I am a weak vessel that can not accomplish anything significant in my own power. Yet within me is the image of an all powerful God, the lion of the tribe of Judah. If we learn to trust him and have courage that he will complete our ministry, all things will work together for Good because of God’s love for us. This year we’ve shared the news that Nicole and Brendan are expecting their first child in 2021. We are now excited to announce that Amber Masters has accepted the responsibility of stepping into Nicole’s role of SRE teacher at The Entrance Campus for Term 1 and 2. Amber has been volunteering with us for quite some time and has been working in a temporary SRE position at Brisbane Waters Secondary College this year. We are very blessed and thankful to have her join our growing team. Board member John Bock has also been doing an awesome job creating a data-base of our mission partners. It’s been especially difficult to connect and communicate with supporters over Covid so this will be a great resource to bridge that particular gap We look forward to launching the new year of SRE work at our Commissioning Service on March 8 2021 at Bateau Bay Baptist Church. Make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to gather, connect and pray with us. We will keep you updated regarding Covid restrictions and adjustments if these still apply at that time. – Josiah Wilkes Describe yourself in ten words? I like: the scenic route; veggie tacos; vintage clothes; Zachariah <3 What makes you so passionate about SRE work? I am still in awe that there is opportunity to do SRE work here. It amazes me that we get to walk students through the claims of the Bible. Jesus is the most important thing to me, and I’m so so grateful that I get to teach others about Him. What are you most looking forward to about stepping into The Entrance Campus as SRE teacher next year? I’m excited to connect with students that I’ve met in Tumbi SRE and continue to walk with them, and I’m praying to see things start clicking and making sense for them. I am excited to learn more about Jesus and grow as a teacher. How can we pray for you as you take on this role? Please pray that I handle this sensitive role with great discernment and wisdom. Prayer that I would be diligent and confident, teaching these students to the best of my abilities. And Prayer for my relationship with the staff of The Entrance Campus would be appreciated.
