We have been invited back! After our trip in June the FWC team was invited back to the Central Coast to participate as team leaders at a camp for the Tuggerah Schools Lake District where we had done some ministry. And… Amber and Troy are answering the call and going back!
The goal is to go back and continue this ministry as we serve and participate in the equipping of our fellow believers, and we consider ourselves so blessed to do so.
While preparing for the trip, we have been soaking in the idea of a three-way hospitality. In June, we were blown away by the hospitality and generosity of our hosts to us, and it caused us to see new attributes about the Father, such as, that He is a hospitable God. We serve a hospitable God, they were a hospitable host, and so how do we be hospitable guests? We are praying that we would be received as good ambassadors of our Father in the giving and receiving of hospitality.
Another important aspect of the trip is the continuity and maintaining of relationships. During our trip in June we witnessed some sweet girls accept Jesus as their Savior and served alongside fellow believers and churches. We are seeking to embrace the connections we have already made and see what ministry looks like going forward between FWC and the Australia congregations.
