ABOUT FWC

Our Sunday Service

We offer corporate communion every first Sunday of the month. On other Sundays, we offer various worship stations, aka altars, to let all believers come and express their faith in Christ through various forms of worship.

COMMUNION
“Do this in remembrance of me.” Luke 22:19
We take communion together on the first Sunday of each month, and each week one at a time as the Lord leads. This altar is in the front directly to the left of the stage.

PRAYER AND HEALING
“Is anyone among you suffering? . . . Is anyone among you sick? James 5:13-14
This altar is a place where the elders may join with you in petitioning the Lord for specific needs. This altar is in the front of the church at the center aisle.

OFFERING
This is a form of worship that gives us the opportunity to show the Lord our appreciation of Him in a tangible way. Our offering altar is located in the center of the foyer.

CONFESSION
“Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed” James 5:16
This altar is a legally protected, confidential safe place to express specific sins to the Lord and hear the invaluable words In the name of Christ, “You, are forgiven; go and sin no more.” This altar is located in the front of the church to the left as you face the front.

FREE EXPRESSION
In front of the sound stage, a specific place in our church where you can move freely and worship as you feel led.

KIDS
“Let the little children come to me, and do not prevent them: for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 10:14
If we exist for no other reason, it is to provide a place where our kids are free to play at the feet of Jesus. We encourage parents to worship with their kids. Please know that your children are welcome to remain with you throughout the entire service.

*We also provide children’s church across the street after the song portion of our worship has ended. Please pick up your kids ASAP after the sermon to allow them to rejoin us if we close with extended song worship.

Our Statement of Faith - The Nicene Creed

We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one being with the Father.

Through him all things were made.

For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary,
and was made man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.

On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father [and the Son].

With the Father and the Son
he is worshipped and glorified.

He has spoken through the Prophets.

We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.

We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.

AMEN.
